There is one show that has been around for a very long time and the longer that it has been around the more ridiculous it has gotten. American Idol came out around the same time as Big Brother. The oh so famous Kelly Clarkson became the first Idol winner, but the competition kept going. Personally, I think that when the first season aired it was a good show. However, now the show is a little bit out there. First of all I think they should have ended it when Paula and Simon left. The show is just not the same. Secondly, I think it is more of a-lets make fun of those people who cant sing-type of show. Now dont get me wrong I too enjoy seeing the judges faces when they hear a bad singer, but come on its just too much now.

Another show that it is somewhat entertaining is Dancing With The Stars. Now this show takes washed up actors and actresses and attempt at making the famous again. Or it takes people such as Bristol Palin and make them look like an idiot. On the last season, Bristol Palin caused so much controversy over the ending decision. I'm not going to lie I was really pulling for the Hoff to win-haha. The new season is about to start in a few weeks so sit back and get ready to enjoy the wonders of dancing.

I used to LOVE American Idol, now I just can't seem to watch...this happened even before the famous exits of Paula and Simon. After the fifth season it just seemed to get stale.
ReplyDeleteI am surprisingly excited about this seasoons American Idol. I think the new judges will take this show to a completely new level and I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's going to be good.
ReplyDeleteI am excited about this season too- I have a 12 year old sister and American Idol is our thing.. Every week we watch it together, I love it because even if we are busy and dont get to see each other a lot during the week we always meet in my room for American Idol!
